Campbell has started every one of the 12 games this season for the Patriots after being picked fourth overall in the 2025 NFL Draft last April. Additionally, the Patriots will be without starting left guard Jared Wilson, who is out with a sprained ankle and is expected to be week-to-week.

The 21-year-old has allowed 16 quarterback pressures, five sacks, and four QB hits over 452 pass blocking snaps this year.

He holds the second-best grade on the team (71.3), just behind guard Mike Onwenu (72.2).

Backup Vederian Lowe will replace Campbell for the upcoming four weeks. Lowe stepped in for Campbell during Sunday’s victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, conceding two QB hurries on two pressures in only 16 pass blocking snaps.

Lowe was the team’s left tackle last season before Campbell was drafted. In 2024, Lowe committed a harsh 13 penalties in 14 games and allowed 23 QB hurries, five QB hits, and five sacks on 33 total pressures.

Drake Maye is already the third-most sacked quarterback in the NFL this season with 37 sacks, and now he will be without his franchise left tackle for the next month.

New England’s upcoming four games are against the New York Giants (December 1st), Buffalo Bills (December 14th), Baltimore Ravens (December 21st), and the New York Jets (December 28th).

Campbell might return for the season finale against the Miami Dolphins, unless the team opts to rest him that week and preserve him for the playoffs.

The Patriots currently hold the No. 1 seed in the AFC with the NFL’s best 10-2 record, riding a nine-game winning streak.
