Roach's new deal guarantees $14 million, making him one of several key players who have extended their contracts with the team this season.
Denver recently signed center Luke Wattenberg to a four-year, $48 million contract extension on Tuesday. Prior to that, the team secured other important players for the future, including wide receiver Courtland Sutton (four years, $92 million), EDGE rusher Nik Bonito (four years, $102 million base), defensive lineman Zach Allen (four years, $102 million base), and kicker Wil Lutz (three years, $22.1 million).
Roach missed the initial five games of the season due to a calf strain but is just one sack shy of matching his career best with three.
In six games—all wins for Denver—he has recorded 21 tackles, four quarterback pressures, two sacks, and one quarterback hit across eight pressures.
The 27-year-old joined the New Orleans Saints in 2020 as an undrafted free agent and played four seasons there before signing with the Broncos in 2024.
Over 64 games in his seven-year career, Roach has accumulated 154 tackles, 25.5 tackles for loss, six pass breakups, five sacks, one forced fumble, and one interception.
