
The final nominees for the major individual awards of the 2025 MLB season have been revealed. Here are the specifics.
This list was chosen by votes from the Baseball Writers' Association of America (BBWAA), and the top three players with the most votes for each award became finalists. The winners will be announced gradually within a week.
Below are the final three nominees for each award:
Most Valuable Player Award (MVP)
The American League nominees are: Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees, Cal Raleigh of the Seattle Mariners, and José Ramírez of the Cleveland Guardians.
The National League nominees are: Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Kyle Schwarber of the Philadelphia Phillies, and Juan Soto of the New York Mets.
Cy Young Award
The American League nominees are: Hunter Brown of the Houston Astros, Garrett Crochet of the Boston Red Sox, and Tarik Skubal of the Detroit Tigers.
The National League nominees are: Cristopher Sánchez of the Philadelphia Phillies, Paul Skenes of the Pittsburgh Pirates, and Yoshinobu Yamamoto of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Rookie of the Year Award
The American League nominees are: Roman Anthony of the Boston Red Sox, Nick Kurtz of the Athletics, and Jacob Wilson of the Athletics.
The National League nominees are: Drake Baldwin of the Atlanta Braves, Caleb Durbin of the Milwaukee Brewers, and Cade Horton of the Chicago Cubs.
Manager of the Year Award
The American League nominees are: John Schneider of the Toronto Blue Jays, Stephen Vogt of the Cleveland Guardians, and Dan Wilson of the Seattle Mariners.
The National League nominees are: Terry Francona of the Cincinnati Reds, Pat Murphy of the Milwaukee Brewers, and Rob Thomson of the Philadelphia Phillies.
The awards will be announced according to the following schedule:
