Dodgers championship members visit Lakers home court, star pitchers showcase basketball skills with effortless dunks

The Dodgers, fresh off an incredible seven-game series to repeat as champions, have been very active lately. Players including Mookie Betts, Blake Snell, and Will Smith brought the World Series trophy to the Los Angeles Lakers' home on November 5th local time, serving as ceremonial guests for the Lakers' game against the Spurs.

Before the official game started, the Lakers arranged for Luka Doncic and Rui Hachimura to welcome the championship members. Except for the over 2-meter-tall Tyler Glasnow, these baseball players appeared quite small standing next to the tall Doncic and Hachimura.

The Dodgers players also took a shot during the pre-game warm-up. Starting pitchers Snell and Glasnow both showed good shooting form, with Glasnow impressively completing an easy dunk that amazed the entire crowd.

The Dodgers endured a tough seven-game battle in this year’s World Series, including a stunning comeback in the decisive game seven that left the Toronto Blue Jays defeated. This victory made the Dodgers the first team in nearly 25 years to successfully defend their title. Meanwhile, the Lakers, also based in Los Angeles, last won a championship in 2020, holding 17 titles in total—second only to the Celtics’ 18. The Lakers famously achieved a three-peat from 2000 to 2002, the most recent NBA dynasty of its kind.
