The most consistent women's singles performance in the world today is none other than An Xiying. South Korea's world No. 1 Olympic and world champion Ahn Se Young defeated Singapore's world No. 13 Yang Jiamin 21-11, 21-12 in the women's singles quarterfinals of the 2025 India Badminton Super 750 Tournament on the 17th local time in just 36 minutes.

So far, Ahn has advanced to at least the semi-finals of nine consecutive World Tour events, including the World Tour Finals, and all of these events are high-level events in the Super 750, 1000 and Finals.
Judging by her victory at last week's Malaysia Super 1000 and her strong semi-final run this week, she is ready to surpass her previous record of 10 in 2023 this year.
This is the 10th meeting between An Xiying and Yang Jiamin, who had won seven in a row before, but she withdrew due to injury in the last meeting between the two (last year's Indian Open Badminton Championships quarterfinals), and now she has met Yang Jiamin in the same tournament for the first time in a year, and she won without surprise.
