Say goodbye to Auckland '57 Sport unveils new badges and steps into a new era

Athletics, who have been burned by the moving controversy for a long time, will officially start a new era this year, and they will temporarily live in Sacramento, California, until the completion of the new stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2028. The Athletics played their final game in Oakland at the end of September last year, ending 57 years at the home of San Francisco's East Bay.

The new season's Athletics will not be named after the city, but simply Athletics or A's, and will have a badge on the sleeve of the jersey with a design of the Tower Bridge next to the new course. Their new stadium, Sutter Health Park, can be seen from the right field wall. The badge also has the word Sacramento on it, but it doesn't include the team name.

The Athletic founded the team in Philadelphia in 1901, moved to Kansas City in 1955, and only came to Oakland in 1968. Rickey Henderson, the team's greatest player in history, passed away last December, and the sportsman never left Oakland at least during his professional baseball career. The new stadium can only accommodate 10,000 people, and it is expected to be at the bottom of the major leagues again this year.
