
The Los Angeles Angels officially announced today that team general manager Perry Minasian has been relieved of his duties. Meanwhile, John Mozeliak has been appointed as baseball operations advisor and interim general manager.
Team president Molly Jolly stated in an official announcement: "Perry is a highly respected leader who has worked tirelessly over the past six years to strengthen our baseball operations department. I sincerely appreciate his dedication, exceptional insights, and numerous contributions to the team."
Minasian was hired on November 12, 2020, becoming the 13th general manager in Angels history. Mozeliak previously spent 30 years with the St. Louis Cardinals, including 18 seasons leading baseball operations before joining the Angels.
