Athletics unveils 2025 jersey patches to warm up the new era of Las Vegas three years in advance

While the Athletics will be based in West Sacramento for the next three years, their jerseys are already spearheading a new home in Southern Nevada in 2028. On March 14, the team announced a three-year marketing partnership with the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority (LVCVA), which has become the "Official Travel Destination Partner." Beginning with the opening game against the Mariners on March 27, the Athletics will wear a "Las Vegas" patch on the cuffs of all of their home, away and special-edition jerseys throughout the regular season and playoffs.

"For the Athletic, it's not just a patch, it's the starting point for a new home," said owner John Fisher, "and we'll be wearing it with enthusiasm for the next three years until the energetic spirit of our new home stadium is incorporated into the entire jersey." Steve Hill, President and CEO of LVCVA, emphasized, "Every Sportsman race will shine in the light of Las Vegas for the next three years. Whether the team is in Sacramento, Boston, or elsewhere, this patch is a reminder that Major League League is coming to Las Vegas, cementing its position as a world-class sporting destination. "

As the Official Destination Partner of Sportsman, LVCVA will work with teams to launch a series of marketing campaigns to bring the Las Vegas experience to fans in person and online. Fans will have the opportunity to participate in exclusive content, promotions, and events to get a sneak peek of what the future will be like in the mecca of baseball.
