South Korean women's table tennis ace Shin Yubin easily passed her first exam with her new women's doubles partner, Hannah Liu. On the 26th, Shin Yubin/Liu Hannah defeated the Indian pair Anzariro Sheila/Diabram Hazarizzo 3-0 (11-3, 11-1, 11-5) in the women's doubles qualifiers for the 2025 WTT Star Challenge Chennai in Chennai, India.

With that, Shin Yubin/Yoo Hannah will enter the round of 16 and will face another Korean pair, Lee Eun-hye/Kim Na-young, for a ticket to the Women's Doubles quarter-finals. In addition, Shin Yubin will face off against his team's predecessor Lee Eun-hye in the women's singles round of 16.

Shen Yubin retired because of his "golden partner" Tian Zhixi, who had cooperated to win the gold medal in table tennis women's doubles at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games, and lost his partner for a while.
