Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics women's singles champion and Russian star Anna Shcherbakova and two-time Olympic men's singles champion Yevgeny Plushenko recently conducted joint training at the "Angela Plushenko" academy. From this year onwards, Shcherbakova will continue to be the main star of the figure skating show hosted by Plushenko. Shcherbakova temporarily took the place of Alexandra Ignatova (Beijing Winter Olympics women's singles silver medallist Trusova called herself Ignatova under her husband's last name after she got married), who missed the show due to pregnancy. According to the poster, in the program from November this year to January next year, Shcherbakova and Trusova will perform together.

The last professional match of Shcherbakova's career was a victory at the 2022 Winter Olympics. This season, for the first time, Shcherbakova worked as a commentator for figure skating competitions on Channel One in Russia: she worked in the Russian Grand Prix of Figure Skating, the Russian Figure Skating Championships and the Russian Grand Prix Finals.
