Meanwhile, as a designated hitter, he has achieved an impressive batting average of .276, with 38 home runs, 73 RBIs, 105 runs scored, and an OPS of 0.981, continuously showcasing his exceptional two-way ability. Recently, Los Angeles Dodgers ace Tyler Glasnow analyzed Ohtani's remarkable mental toughness in an interview, stating that Ohtani is "truly exceptional."

Long before becoming teammates, Glasnow had praised Ohtani as "one of the greatest baseball players of all time." Recently, during an interview with the baseball-focused YouTube channel "JM Baseball," he was asked, "As a teammate, what did you notice about him pitching that others might miss?" He clearly stated, "It's obvious to anyone watching just how incredible he is."

Glasnow first analyzed Ohtani from a technical perspective: "His pitching motion is very fluid, especially with the new mechanics he started trying this year; he adapted quickly. But for me, what stands out isn't just his pitching itself, but the details."

He went on to explain, "Pitchers face a lot of mental pressure, and their performance can fluctuate dramatically. When things aren’t going well, they constantly try to adjust and figure out what’s wrong, rewatching videos and practicing intensely. But he also has to hit, which is equally exhausting; it’s like a rollercoaster of mechanical movements, yet he manages to do both at the same time."

Glasnow particularly emphasized Ohtani's unnoticed efforts: "Generally, it’s very difficult to manage your emotions under such immense pressure. After he resumed being a dual-threat, the mental pressure he faces daily has definitely increased significantly. Yet, no matter the situation, his attitude remains consistent, always cheerful as if he’s at summer camp. It’s precisely for this reason that I find him truly special; he takes so many things in stride, and in a sense, that mental fortitude is simply exceptional."
