LeBron James has arrived! The Lakers superstar landed in Shanghai by private jet in the early morning, greeted enthusiastically by fans late at night.

On September 3rd Beijing time, the N1972 private jet with LeBron James aboard landed smoothly at Shanghai Hongqiao Airport at 00:03. The Lakers star is set to kick off his trip to China. His itinerary shows a rest day on September 3rd, Shanghai events starting September 4th, followed by activities in Chengdu on September 5th.

Videos taken by several fans show that as LeBron’s private jet landed and taxied, fans gathered outside Hongqiao Airport were chanting “LBJ” to welcome him. Some even recorded LeBron stepping off the plane and pulling his suitcase as he walked down the shuttle bus.

When LeBron and his team cleared customs and left Hongqiao Airport, many fans excitedly shouted at the exit and even chased the vehicle, capturing footage of LeBron sitting in the back seat inside the car.

According to earlier reports, LeBron’s private jet is a Gulfstream G650, owned by Nike. The flight originated from Portland, which is also Nike’s headquarters location.

Just yesterday, Nike released a new commercial titled “The Eternal King” featuring LeBron. In the ad, LeBron puts on a golden crown himself, accompanied by a narration that sparked quite a bit of discussion.

The narration states: “He was once called ‘The Chosen One,’ carrying the weight of all expectations, yet never broken. We are all witnesses. Every opponent has been defeated by him, every idol surpassed. He claimed the crown and holds it firmly—witness this greatness, he is the Eternal King.”

As one of the greatest players in NBA history, LeBron has been in the league since 2003, accumulating honors among the top in NBA history. His accolades include 4 NBA championships, 4 Finals MVP awards, 4 regular-season MVP awards, 21 All-Star selections, and 21 All-NBA team honors, among many others.

Last season, LeBron played 70 regular-season games for the Lakers, averaging 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 8.2 assists per game, with a field goal percentage of 51.3% and a three-point shooting rate of 37.6%. At 40 years old, LeBron still maintains excellent form.
