In the Pacers' 116-101 preseason win against the Thunder,Wiseman came off the bench for 12 minutes, shooting a perfect 4-for-4 and tallying 10 points and 5 reboundswhile repeatedly showcasing powerful dunks around the rim.

Last season, Wiseman also played for the Pacers but tore his Achilles tendon in the 24-25 regular season opener, forcing him out for the year, and this summer he rejoined the Pacers on a two-year minimum salary deal.

Born on March 31, 2001, this 24-year-old big man stands 2.13 meters tall with a 2.26-meter wingspan. The 2020 second overall pick was heavily developed by the Warriors for two and a half seasons and won a championship with them in 2022 before being traded to the Pistons midway through the 22-23 season.

So far in his NBA career, Wiseman has played 148 regular season games with 55 starts, averaging 18.9 minutes, 9.1 points, and 5.6 rebounds per game on 56% shooting. He has yet to appear in a playoff game; regarding the 2022 Warriors championship, he was a non-playing member, having missed the entire 21-22 season due to injury.

Although Wiseman has struggled to meet the high expectations placed on him, his exceptional physical gifts suggest he can have a long NBA career, especially given his willingness to accept a minimum salary and a role player position without letting the psychological setback cause him to give up.
