Countdown to 7 days! 17 people lifted trade restrictions: Maxi Anunoby is on the list of Lakers rising stars

On January 9, Beijing time, in another 7 days, the NBA trade market will usher in another important day. On January 16 (Beijing time, the same below), 17 players will be lifted from the trade restrictions and eligible for trade. Previously, 85 players had already been lifted on December 16, and seven days later, more players were eligible for trade. The trade deadline for this season is Feb. 7.

Players who re-sign with their respective teams in the offseason using bird or early bird rights will not be eligible to be traded until after January 16, and there are 17 players who meet this criteria this year. The specific list is as follows-

Nick Claxton, Brooklyn Nets, center

Miles Bridges, Charlotte Hornets, small forward

Patrick Williams, Chicago Bulls, power forward

Obi Toppin, Indiana Pacers, power forward

Max Christie, Los Angeles Lakers, shooting guard

Haywood Highsmith, Miami Heat, small forward

Presis Achiuwa, New York Knicks, center

OG Anunoby, New York Knicks, small forward

Isaiah Joe, Oklahoma City Thunder, shooting guard

Aaron Wiggins, Oklahoma City Thunder, small forward

Goga Bitadze, Orlando Magic, center

KJ Martin, Philadelphia 76ers, small forward

Tyrese Maxey, Philadelphia 76ers, point guard

Josh Okogie, Phoenix Suns, small forward

Malik Monk, Sacramento Kings, shooting guard

Emmanuel Quickley, Toronto Raptors, point guard

Johnny Juzan, Utah Jazz, small forward

The American media pointed out that although the 17 players will be lifted from the trade restrictions in a week, the vast majority (if not all) of them will not be traded before the deadline, after all, the team extended their contracts to like their performance in the previous contract, but the NBA is a business, and you never know what will happen next. For example, Lakers star Christie, who has gradually received Redick's attention, the Lakers currently have no intention of sending him away.

Bridges is perhaps the most likely candidate to be traded, and he's a great player on a terrible team, and it wouldn't be a surprise if the Hornets traded him away for future assets. But Bridges' "domestic violence" history has made many teams reluctant to bring him in. The 76ers' KJ Martin is another player who could switch teams.
