0+0! The only zero points held by Yang Hansen! Trail Blazers win on free throws against Nuggets

Trail Blazers announced: NBA All-Defensive Second Team center Lowe has returned...

As expected, Lowe’s presence took away Yang Hansen’s minutes, with Yang sitting out the entire first half, a first in his NBA career.

In the first half, the Trail Blazers and Nuggets were neck and neck, trailing narrowly 53-57. This season, Rip City is no longer a bottom-tier team but is becoming a formidable new force in the West.

The second half was just as tightly contested, and Yang Hansen again had no chance to appear on the court,Ultimately, the Trail Blazers clinched a narrow 109-107 victory over the title favorite Nuggets thanks to Grant’s game-winning free throws.Their current record stands at 4 wins and 2 losses.

It is worth mentioning that,Yang Hansen was the only Trail Blazers player to be marked DNP in this gamewhile Henderson, Lillard, and Sable were all sidelined due to injuries.

The other three Trail Blazers centers all took the court. Returning Lowe shot 2-for-2, scoring 4 points and grabbing 4 rebounds, including an alley-oop dunk over Valan; Klingen scored only 5 points but hauled in 15 rebounds (7 offensive boards); Reece went 0-for-2 on three-pointers and scored no points.

On the Nuggets side, Jokic posted a near triple-double with 21 points, 14 rebounds, and 9 assists, while Murray contributed 22 points, 6 boards, and 3 assists.

From this game, it’s clear Yang Hansen has fallen out of the Trail Blazers’ rotation, unable to earn even a few minutes of playing time. It may soon be announced that he will be sent down to the G League for development, unless there’s an unexpected injury in the frontcourt.

So far this season, Yang Hansen has played in five regular-season games, averaging 5.8 minutes, 1.8 points, 0.8 rebounds, 0 assists, 0.6 turnovers, and 0.4 blocks per game. His shooting percentages are 22.2% overall, 0% from three, and 83.3% from the free-throw line. Frankly, he has lost his way, with the three-point shooting and passing skills he showed in the preseason and summer league completely disappearing.

If he is indeed sent to the G League, it would likely benefit him more than harm him. What Yang Hansen needs most now is to regain his confidence, which is certainly better than being a VIP spectator during regular-season games.

What else is there to say? Keep working hard and pushing forward. Believe that effort will pay off in the end.
