This marks the Lakers’ second consecutive game on a back-to-back schedule, following their 130-120 victory over the Heat. The decision to rest these two players is understandable from a player protection standpoint.

According to the most recent injury report, five Lakers players are listed as out, while two others are considered questionable for tonight’s game—

The absentees include Doncic (left calf contusion, under injury management), LeBron James (right sciatic nerve pain), LeBron James (right sciatic nerve pain), Thybulle (recovering from left knee surgery), and Vincent (left ankle sprain).

Questionable players are Ayton (back spasms) and Kleber (abdominal muscle strain).

In the last game against the Heat, Doncic posted 29 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, and 3 steals, while Reeves contributed 26 points, 4 rebounds, and 11 assists. The Lakers secured their third consecutive win by beating the Heat.
