On November 18th Beijing time, the NBA officially announced the Week 4 Players of the Week, with Nuggets star Jokic and Hawks star Jalen Johnson honored. Jokic earned this accolade for the 19th time in his career and the second time this season, achieving back-to-back wins. This is the first Player of the Week award for Jalen Johnson. Curry, Doncic, Harden, and other stars were nominated.

Western Conference Player of the Week: Jokic
After being named Western Conference Player of the Week last week, Jokic retained the honor this week. Earning his 19th career Player of the Week award, Jokic continues to hold the top spot in Nuggets franchise history. Over the past week, he averaged 39 points, 13 rebounds, and 8 assists per game, shooting 73.7% from the field and 64.3% from three-point range, leading the Nuggets to a perfect 3-0 record. This marks the second time in Jokic’s career that he has won Player of the Week honors two weeks in a row (previously in late January and early February 2021).

In the first game this week, on November 12th against the Kings on the road, Jokic played 33 minutes, making 16 of 19 field goal attempts, 1 of 2 three-pointers, and 2 of 3 free throws, tallying 35 points, 15 rebounds, 7 assists, and 2 steals.
On January 13th, visiting the Los Angeles Clippers, he delivered his best performance this season, playing 34 minutes and shooting 18 of 23 from the field, 5 of 6 from three, and 14 of 16 from the free-throw line, scoring 55 points, grabbing 12 rebounds, dishing 6 assists, along with 1 steal and 1 block. He became the first player since the 1997-98 season—when detailed stats began—to record 52 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists before the fourth quarter started, and also the first to score 90+ points at over 80% shooting accuracy within two days. Closing the week,
on November 16th against the Timberwolves on the road, he shot 8 of 15 from the field, 3 of 6 from three, and a perfect 8 of 8 from the free-throw line, contributing 27 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block, achieving the 171st triple-double of his career.
So far this season, he averages 34.2 minutes per game, with 28.7 points, 13.0 rebounds, 10.9 assists, and 1.8 steals, shooting 67.2% from the field and 42.6% from three-point range. Leading the entire league with 7 triple-doubles, this number exceeds the combined triple-doubles of the next three closest players. Additionally, he ranks first in assists and rebounds, fifth in shooting percentage, and eighth in scoring across the league.
Eastern Conference Player of the Week: Johnson
Johnson earned his first career Player of the Week award. In four games last week, he averaged 34.8 minutes, scoring 24.0 points, grabbing 12.0 rebounds, dishing 9.3 assists, and making 2.5 steals per game, shooting 60.3% from the field, 57.1% from three, and 78.3% from the free-throw line. He led the Hawks to a four-game winning streak on Western Conference road trips, the first time since the 1970-71 season the team went undefeated on a Western road trip of at least four games.

In the first game this week, Johnson led the Hawks to a victory over the Clippers. He played 35 minutes, recording a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds, along with 8 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block.
In the November 13th win against the Kings, Johnson played only 24 minutes, shooting 9 of 10 from the field, and contributed 24 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists, and 1 steal. According to Elias Sports, he became the first NBA player this season to post at least 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists in under 25 minutes, and is the second player in league history to achieve this feat with a shooting percentage above 90% (the other being Dedmon on November 15, 2017).
In the back-to-back second game on November 14th against the Jazz, Johnson delivered a historic performance: shooting 10 of 20 overall (4 of 5 from three, 7 of 11 from the line), he scored a career-high 31 points, along with career-best 18 rebounds, 14 assists, and 7 steals. Since steals became an official stat in the 1973-74 season, he is the first NBA player to record at least 31 points, 18 rebounds, 14 assists, and 7 steals in a single game, and the seventh player in league history to achieve a 30-point plus 7-steal triple-double.
In the November 17th win over the Suns, Johnson played 39 minutes, shooting 9 of 13 from the field (2 of 3 from three, 5 of 6 from free throws), contributing 25 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists, and 1 steal. This marked Johnson’s third consecutive game with at least 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists. He also helped the Hawks complete the largest comeback in team history—down 22 points at 9:50 remaining, the team went on a 19-0 run between 8:21 and 4:34 of the fourth quarter, eventually outscoring the Suns 43-19 in the remaining time to secure the fourth win of the week and extend their winning streak to five games.
