On November 18th Beijing time, James officially rejoined Lakers training, but whether he will play in tomorrow's game against the Jazz remains uncertain. After practice, James and head coach Reddick gave interviews to the media.

Talking about his recovery during this time, James said, "It's basically the same routine every day. Training, training, and more training; rehab, rehab, and more rehab—just trying hard to get back to the form I'm used to." James mentioned this is not his first time dealing with sciatica; he experienced it during the offseason two years ago. "If you've never had this condition... I pray you never do."

"As expected, my lungs now feel like those of a newborn—that's the crucial part. I need to get them back to adult condition. Also, my voice is hoarse; after just one day back, I've been busy calling plays and giving instructions, so my throat needs to adjust again. Tonight, I have to drink plenty of tea and get good rest."
James said he will decide whether to play tomorrow based on how his body responds today. He also mentioned that regaining adult-level fitness can only be achieved by actually playing in games.

The Lakers have started the season well. Speaking about integrating into the team, James said, "I have to slowly reintegrate. The teammates have been playing on the road, doing shooting drills, flying around, so I need to gradually fit back into the group. It's kind of like being the new student on the first day of school, getting to know everyone again. They already have great chemistry, so I just need to naturally ease back in. It shouldn’t be too hard, but it definitely takes time."
James also said that the South Bay Lakers usually train at 11 a.m., and he asked if training could start earlier at 10 a.m., though he originally wanted to begin at 8 a.m. Reflecting on his unique experience training with the G League team, James responded, "Even if I hadn't trained with them, I understand and respect everything they've sacrificed to reach the NBA. Making it to the NBA is a dream for all of us, no matter where you start, you're trying to make your mark in this league. Those G League players sacrifice every day—they come to practice, play games, prepare, just like us on the main roster, all hoping to get called up to the NBA someday. So I respect not only our own G League team but all the G League teams in the league."

Head coach Reddick stated that this is the first full training session this season with all 14 Lakers players present. He noted that Smart and Hachimura, who missed the previous game against the Bucks, are expected to play in tomorrow’s game against the Jazz. He also mentioned that whether James and Vincent will participate in the Jazz game remains uncertain.
So far this season, the Lakers have a 10-4 record, currently sitting fourth in the Western Conference. Nearly 41-year-old James missed these 14 games due to sciatica. According to earlier reports, he is expected to make his return in tomorrow’s game against the Jazz.
