Signed, sealed, and delivered! Rejoining the Warriors! Welcome back, NBA sharpshooter!

Because Curry (with a quadriceps injury) is sidelined for now, they’re bringing in another Curry to fill the gap.

According to insider Shams:Seth Curry is set to sign with the Warriors until the conclusion of the season.

This past summer, Seth signed with the Warriors but was waived quickly due to salary cap issues; now he’s being signed again.

Born on August 23, 1990, Seth played 68 games last season for the Hornets, starting 14 times, averaging 15.6 minutes per game, scoring 6.5 points and grabbing 1.7 rebounds per game. He shot 45.6% overall and made 1.2 three-pointers per game, leading the entire league in three-point shooting percentage that season with 45.6%.

It must be said, the family genes are powerful—both brothers are elite NBA shooters. However, the older brother excels not only in three-point shooting but also in other areas, which is why he has become a historic superstar.

With Seth Curry’s arrival, the Warriors’ already formidable shooting will become even stronger. Currently, they lead the league with 15.9 made three-pointers per game, but their 35.9% three-point shooting percentage ranks only 15th in the league. They need both volume and efficiency to succeed.

So far this season, the Warriors hold an 11-10 record, placing eighth in the Western Conference. This performance clearly falls short of expectations. To achieve greater success, signing Seth alone won’t be enough—they’ll need to acquire an All-Star caliber player through a trade.

The Warriors’ best trade asset right now is 23-year-old Jonathan Kuminga. Reporter Stein previously noted,Kuminga is considered one of the most valuable trade chips in the league and will be eligible for trade starting January 15. The Warriors might make a major move then.

This season, Kuminga has appeared in 14 games, starting 12, averaging 27.1 minutes, contributing 13.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2.6 turnovers per game. His shooting percentages stand at 47.9% field goals, 33.3% from three, and 77.1% from the free-throw line. His rebounding average is a career high. Although a split from the Warriors seems likely, he has remained focused and professional without causing any trouble.
