Shai Gilgeous-Alexander put up 26 points, leading six Thunder players who scored in double digits.
With their 12th consecutive win, Oklahoma City is off to their best start since the 2015-16 Golden State Warriors began the season 21-0.
Current NBA MVP Gilgeous-Alexander’s streak of 93 straight games scoring at least 20 points is the second-longest in history, behind Wilt Chamberlain's 126 consecutive games from October 1961 to January 1963.
He surpassed Chamberlain’s previous 92-game streak from February 1963 to March 1964.
Center Chet Holmgren contributed 19 points, nine rebounds, three blocks, and a steal for the Thunder, who started the final quarter with an 8-0 run to take control in a tightly contested game featuring 15 lead changes.
OKC’s only loss this season came against the Blazers on November 5, when they blew a 22-point lead and lost 121-119 in Portland.
The Blazers challenged them again, entering halftime with a 55-54 advantage and holding an 87-85 lead going into the last quarter.
Deni Avdija led Portland with a triple-double of 31 points, 19 rebounds, and 10 assists, but the Thunder refused to back down.
Aaron Wiggins sparked the fourth-quarter surge with a steal and basket. Holmgren followed with a huge block and a layup.
Jalen Williams delivered a dunk, Ajay Mitchell made another steal and layup, quickly giving the Thunder a six-point lead less than two minutes into the final period.
"We forced many turnovers during that stretch by playing hard, being well-positioned, and strictly following the game plan," said Williams, who was playing his second game after offseason wrist surgery. "That really opened things up.
"It allowed us to find a better rhythm. Whenever you get open layups in transition, it creates more momentum, motivates you to play defense, and that’s what we did."
Portland narrowed the gap to two points with 2:58 left, but the Thunder pulled away once more.
Hawks top Sixers
The Atlanta Hawks defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 142-134 in double overtime to spoil the return of Sixers star Joel Embiidafter a nine-game injury absence.
With the score tied 132-132 and 2:44 remaining in the second overtime, Atlanta’s Jalen Johnson hit back-to-back three-pointers, helping the Hawks secure their fourth win in five games.
Johnson led Atlanta with 41 points and 14 rebounds, while Nickeil Alexander-Walker added 34 points.
Tyrese Maxey scored 44 points for Philadelphia, including a basket that forced overtime, and Embiid contributed 18 points in his first game since November 8.
Boston's Payton Pritchard scored 42 points, and Jaylen Brown recorded his fourth career triple-double with 19 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists as the Celtics narrowly defeated the Cavaliers 117-115 on the road in Cleveland.
Pritchard scored six points in the final 90 seconds to help Boston withstand a late Cleveland rally, led by 27 points from Evan Mobley with 21 points from Darius Garland and 18 from Donovan Mitchell.
The Minnesota Timberwolves, powered by 32 points from Anthony Edwards, defeated San Antonio 125-112, outscoring the Spurs 36-19 in the fourth quarter to secure their second straight win after rallying past the Celtics the previous day.
De'Aaron Fox scored 25 points, while Devin Vassell and Keldon Johnson each contributed 22 points for the Spurs, who were once again without their injured star Victor Wembanyama.
