
On December 1st, during the NBA regular season, the Lakers defeated the Pelicans 133-121 at home, marking their seventh consecutive victory, with the Pelicans dropping their third game in a row.
For the Lakers, Dončić posted 34 points, 12 rebounds, and 7 assists; Reaves contributed 33 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists; Ayton had 22 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 blocks; Hachimura scored 14 points; and LaRavia added 10 points and 5 rebounds. During the third quarter, Hachimura hit a fadeaway jumper, Ayton threw down a powerful dunk, keeping the Lakers up by 20 at 85-65. Bane hit a long-range shot, Fils attacked the rim repeatedly, McGowens made a three-pointer, Loney scored an easy putback, and Bane kept scoring on consecutive plays. Missy threw down a dunk, helping the Pelicans narrow the score to 89-100. Dončić then showcased his exceptional skills by scoring 6 straight points, allowing the Lakers to maintain a 108-92 lead going into the final quarter.
In the final quarter, Reaves made a three-pointer, Ayton scored inside, and Vincent nailed a contested three-pointer, pushing the Lakers’ lead to 118-97, a 21-point advantage. The Lakers then controlled the remainder of the game and secured the win as expected.
