On December 2nd, NBA officially announced the Week 6 Players of the Week. Doncic from the Lakers was selected as the Western Conference Player of the Week, while Brunson from the Knicks took the Eastern Conference Player of the Week award. This is the 15th weekly honor for Doncic in his career and his first this season. Brunson earned his 8th career weekly award, also the first of this season. Other nominees included Alexander and Reeves.

Western Conference Player of the Week: Doncic (Lakers)
Over the past week, Doncic averaged 37.3 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 10.3 assists, leading the Lakers to a perfect 3-0 record.

In the game against the Clippers, Doncic posted 43 points, 9 rebounds, 13 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block; versus the Mavericks, he scored 35 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, and dished out 11 assists; against the Pelicans, he recorded 34 points, 12 rebounds, and 7 assists.
So far this season, Doncic is averaging 35.1 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 9.2 assists per game. The Lakers hold a 15-4 record, currently placed second in the Western Conference.
Eastern Conference Player of the Week: Brunson (Knicks)
In the last week, Brunson averaged 28.8 points and 4.5 assists with a three-point shooting percentage of 40.7%, helping the Knicks achieve a 4-0 record.

Against the Nets, Brunson scored 27 points with 3 rebounds and 3 assists; versus the Hornets, he put up 33 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists; against the Bucks, he tallied 37 points and 5 assists; and versus the Raptors, he contributed 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists.
