The Warriors officially announce the signing of Seth Curry! He will wear jersey number 31: debuting tomorrow against the Thunder.

On December 2nd Beijing time, the Golden State Warriors officially confirmed they have signed free agent guard Seth Curry. According to previous reports, the Warriors signed him through the end of this season. Seth Curry initially signed with the Warriors on October 2nd, attended training camp, but was waived on October 19th. He will wear number 31 with the Warriors, while his brother Stephen Curry wears number 30.

Seth Curry has already appeared at the Warriors' training facility, and head coach Steve Kerr stated that Seth will be eligible to play in tomorrow’s game against the Thunder. Kerr also mentioned that Seth’s arrival adds another excellent shooter to the team.

At 35 years old, Seth Curry played 68 games (14 starts) last season for the Charlotte Hornets, averaging 15.6 minutes per game with 6.5 points and 1.7 rebounds. He led the league in three-point shooting percentage at 45.6% (83 made out of 182 attempts).

As a veteran with 11 years of NBA experience, Seth Curry has played 550 career games (224 starts) for the Hornets, Mavericks, Nets, 76ers, Trail Blazers, Kings, Suns, Cavaliers, and Grizzlies. He averages 22.5 minutes, 10.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game. His career playoff stats include 41 games (16 starts), averaging 26.1 minutes, 11.6 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.6 assists.

Seth Curry went undrafted in the 2013 NBA Draft. During the 2013-14 season, he played for the Warriors’ D-League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, appearing in 38 games (37 starts). He averaged 34.7 minutes, 19.7 points (shooting 43.7% from the field, 37.2% from three, and 85.3% from the free-throw line), 3.1 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and 1.4 steals per game.
