On December 2nd Beijing time, at halftime of the Clippers vs. Heat game, the Clippers were down 56-76, trailing by 20 points. With 7:14 left in the second quarter, the Clippers led 44-42, but then the Heat unleashed a 32-4 run, stretching the lead to as much as 26 points. After losing 13 out of their last 15 games, the Clippers appear to be falling apart once more.

The Clippers' current predicament has also drawn significant attention. Danny Green and Paul Pierce discussed the Clippers on a recent podcast, with Danny Green recommending a full rebuild that involves trading everyone, including Harden and Kawhi.
“I’ve been trying to find a polite way to describe how bad this team’s performance is,” Danny Green said during the podcast.
“I feel a bit sorry for him,” Green said while watching a clip of Harden discussing the Clippers' tough situation. “I feel bad for Harden. He was traded here expecting to play alongside Leonard and others, and they had a decent season last year. Harden has never missed the playoffs... he’s made it every year. But this year will be the first time in his 17-year career that he misses the postseason.”

Green also mentioned that Harden clearly seems unhappy with the Clippers now, and given that Harden is nearing the end of his prime and his chances of winning a championship may be diminishing, the Clippers should trade him before he completely loses his value.
Green pointed out that Harden’s body language reveals his frustration — in a team barely able to make the playoffs, his dream of a championship feels increasingly out of reach.
Green suggested the Clippers trade all players on the roster, including Leonard and Harden. “They need to tear it all down to get something valuable in return,” Green advised.
“So who do you trade then?” Pierce asked.
“Everyone,” Green answered firmly. “Anyone is available for trade.” He believes now is the best time for the Clippers to completely rebuild their roster because by the end of the season, their assets will be worth even less, and if they delay, they risk getting nothing in return for their superstars.
