In the second half, Yang Hansen’s offensive momentum dropped significantly, possibly due to fatigue, especially struggling with long-range shots, even awkwardly hitting the rim’s side off a three-pointer late in the third quarter.

Unless something unexpected happens, Yang Hansen is expected to represent the Mixers in upcoming home games on the 8th vs. South Bay Lakers, 10th and 12th vs. Salt Lake City Stars, and an away game on the 14th vs. South Bay Lakers, before returning on the 15th to play for the Trail Blazers at home against the Warriors.

Playing more games in the G League has its benefits: at least there’s plenty of playing time. Getting on the court helps improve skills and fitness through real-game experience, otherwise sitting on the bench in the main league often leads to stagnation.

So far this season, the Trail Blazers hold a 9-13 record, ranking tenth in the Western Conference, just half a game ahead of the eleventh-place Jazz. As long as there’s a chance to reach the play-in tournament, the team won’t focus on developing rookies. Yang Hansen must remain patient, keep developing himself, and wait for his moment to shine.
