On December 6th Beijing time, Lakers star Luka Dončić announced on social media that his second child—a daughter named Olivia—has been born successfully. ESPN sources disclosed that Dončić had missed the Lakers’ previous two games for "personal reasons" and had traveled back to Ljubljana, Slovenia, to support his fiancée Anamaria Goltes during the delivery.

Dončić and Goltes also have a two-year-old daughter named Gabriela.

During Dončić’s absence, the Lakers recorded one win and one loss.
Before the Lakers’ 105-126 loss to the Boston Celtics, head coach Reddick stated that Dončić is expected to rejoin the team as soon as Monday (Beijing time) for the game against the Philadelphia 76ers.

After back-to-back games in Toronto and Boston, the Lakers will have a rest day on Sunday.
At 26 years old, Dončić is leading the league in scoring this season with a career-best average of 35.3 points per game, while also ranking fourth in assists with 8.9 per game, 19th in rebounds with 8.9, and 11th in steals with 1.6 per game.
The Lakers started this season with a 16-6 record, currently holding third place in the Western Conference.
