On December 8th Beijing time, the Warriors officially updated Curry's injury status. He is expected to participate in some practice on Thursday, with team insiders suggesting Curry is likely to come back for Saturday's matchup with the Timberwolves.

The official announcement states: Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry sustained a left quadriceps contusion and muscle strain in the November 27th game (Beijing time) against the Houston Rockets, causing him to miss 4 games since. The team recently re-evaluated his injury, showing good recovery progress. He has started individual on-court training in the Bay Area and is expected to join parts of the practice when the team returns home on Thursday.
Reporter Dalton Johnson shared the Warriors' announcement and noted this further indicates Curry is likely to return for the home game against the Timberwolves this Saturday.
So far this season, Curry has played 16 regular season games for the Warriors, averaging 27.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 4 assists per game, with a shooting percentage of 47.1%, three-point accuracy of 39.1%, and free throw rate of 91.9%. The Warriors currently stand at 12 wins and 12 losses, ranking eighth in the Western Conference. Curry's comeback will greatly boost the team's competitiveness, as the Suns ahead of them hold a 13-10 record, and the Warriors need to catch up.
During Curry's absence, the Warriors have developed some role players, especially Spencer, who performed excellently in the last game. His breakout has strengthened the Warriors' backcourt depth.
