On December 11th Beijing time, according to reporter Sidery, the Mavericks are highly willing to trade Anthony Davis before the trade deadline next February. Kalshi Sports has provided the following odds for Davis being traded from the Mavericks to each team—

Pistons: 20%
Hawks: 18%
Raptors: 16%
Bulls: 5%

At present, the Pistons are the most favored team to acquire Davis. They possess enough assets to offer the Dallas Mavericks an appealing proposal.Sidery previously mentioned that the Pistons could assemble a trade package centered around Ivey, which would also include Harris’s expiring contract worth $26.6 million, another role player, and draft pick compensation.
Reporter Shams earlier reported that the Pistons are one of three teams preparing to submit formal offers for Davis, alongside the Hawks and Raptors. If the trade goes through, Detroit would become the first Eastern Conference team Davis has played for in his career.

Davis’s agent, Rich Paul, recently met with Mavericks management to discuss his client’s future. Reports say the Mavericks have not ruled out any possibilities and are still weighing all options.
The 32-year-old star is earning $54.1 million this season, with a salary of $58.5 million next season, and holds a player option worth $62.8 million for the 2027-28 season.
Davis joined the Mavericks last season in a blockbuster trade involving Doncic, but so far he has only played 19 games for Dallas. Plagued by a left calf strain, Davis has appeared in just 10 games this season, averaging 19.6 points and 10.2 rebounds per game.
This ten-time All-Star, who will turn 33 next March, remains one of the top two-way players among his peers. Over his career, he has played for the Pelicans, Lakers, and currently the Mavericks, posting averages of 24.1 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks per game.
