
On December 24th Beijing time, during the NBA regular season, the Suns secured a commanding 132-108 win over the Lakers on their home court.
For the Suns, Dillon scored 25 points, Booker had 21 points and 11 assists, Williams contributed 18 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 blocks, Gillespie added 16 points, 8 assists, and 3 steals, Bueye scored 14 points, and O'Neal had 12 points; for the Lakers, James posted 23 points and 6 assists, Reaves had 17 points, Smart put up 14 points and 6 assists, Ayton recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds plus 3 steals, LaRavia added 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 blocks, and Smith scored 12 points.
In the first quarter, LaRavia aggressively attacked and scored 5 points consecutively, James responded with a turnaround jumper; Dillon kept driving to the basket, O'Neal nailed a three-pointer, Booker finished a fast break, and the score was tied at 9-all. In the second quarter, Iguodala slammed a dunk, Bueye hit a mid-range jumper from the free-throw line, Gillespie knocked down an open three, Iguodala scored again inside, helping the Suns extend their lead to 38-30. James and Smart each made three-pointers, Reaves drove and scored 5 points consecutively, Smith hit a step-back jumper, helping the Lakers cut the deficit to 46-50. Dillon made a three-pointer, Mawey also nailed a triple, Goodwin’s three-pointer went in, Mawey and Dillon kept attacking, Booker scored a mid-range jumper, and by halftime, the Suns led 67-57.
In the third quarter, O'Neal hit an open three, Booker completed a 2+1 play, Gillespie and Mawey combined to score, both Gillespie and Dillon made long-range shots, helping the Suns pull ahead by 22 points at 86-64. Mawey nailed another three, Dillon was in great form scoring 7 straight points, Booker made a three-pointer, Dillon hit a jump shot, Booker dunked with both hands, Bueye drove for a layup, Goodwin hit a long-range shot, and Bueye made a step-back jumper, as the Suns played impressively and led 112-86 at the end of the quarter.
In the final quarter, Gillespie made a three-pointer, Dunn soared for a layup, Gillespie hit another three, helping the Suns extend their lead to 120-91. For the remainder of the game, the Suns maintained control and secured the win as expected.
