Doncic’s homecoming was met with fan applause; he posted 33 points, 8 boards, and 11 assists, becoming the youngest player in NBA history to reach 1,500 made three-pointers. LeBron added 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists, while Ayton was off his game, making only 4 of 16 shots. The Lakers led by 13 at halftime, but the Mavericks surged back with a 35-14 third quarter to take the lead.
