
On January 26th Beijing time, during the NBA regular season, the Warriors secured a commanding 111-85 victory over the Timberwolves away from home, extending Minnesota's losing streak to five games.
For the Timberwolves, Edwards recorded 32 points and 11 rebounds, DiVincenzo added 22 points and 7 rebounds, Randle contributed 11 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals, while Reid grabbed 10 rebounds; for the Warriors, Curry posted 26 points, 7 assists, and 4 steals, Moody scored 19 points with 8 rebounds and 2 blocks, Pojemski had 12 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals, Melton added 12 points and 4 assists, Horford contributed 10 points and 5 rebounds, and Richards scored 10 points with 3 steals.
In the first quarter, Moody started strong, scoring all of the Warriors’ first five points, Horford also hit shots from outside, followed by Pojemski converting an assist from Curry, helping the Warriors jump to a 14-2 lead. Edwards and Gobert responded with aggressive plays; Edwards and DiVincenzo scored through shooting to help the Timberwolves recover from their slow start. Moody and Horford continued to score from beyond the arc, keeping the Warriors firmly in control, finishing the quarter leading 24-19.

In the second quarter, Curry and Moody kept hitting from long range, Melton converted a three-point play, pushing the Warriors ahead 40-30 with a 10-point lead. Edwards nailed two consecutive three-pointers, and the Timberwolves’ potent outside shooting didn’t stop there; DiVincenzo and Edwards continued to drain threes, sparking a fierce comeback. Thanks to their sharp three-point shooting, the Timberwolves significantly closed the gap. At halftime, the Warriors held a slim 47-46 advantage.

In the third quarter, Pojemski was in excellent form, scoring six straight points, Curry drove in for a reverse layup, then Moody hit a clutch three-pointer. Curry’s fadeaway jumper demonstrated his skill once again, as the Warriors played impressively and extended their lead to double digits at 64-53. Richards and Post fired from outside successively, Santos also nailed a long-range shot, helping the Warriors further widen the margin. The quarter ended with the Warriors leading 85-63.
In the final quarter, Curry and Moody continued their three-point assault, pushing the Warriors’ lead to 95-70, a 25-point difference. The remainder of the game held no surprises as the Warriors’ dominant advantage remained unshakable, comfortably maintaining their lead to secure the win.
