Wembanyama is determined to visit Shaolin again! He wants to introduce Gobert to it: since Gobert is already bald, he doesn't need to shave his head anymore.

On February 24th Beijing time, during the All-Star Weekend, Wembanyama took part in an interview with host Mina. He stated that he will definitely go back to Shaolin and wants to share Chinese culture with Gobert.

Reflecting on his trip to China last year, Wembanyama said, "It was incredibly meaningful for me. Climbing the Great Wall was at the top of my bucket list, and my experience at Shaolin Temple immersed me deeply in the culture. I will definitely return. It was an unforgettable and wonderful experience."

Mina also showed Wembanyama a video recorded by several Shaolin masters. Master Wang Hao said in the video, "Wembanyama, long time no see, I miss you. During the 14 days of learning Chinese kung fu here, we meditated, practiced horse stance, stretched, and you always climbed two mountains in one go without getting flushed or out of breath. I hope you compete without pressure. Next time you come, we will make your favorite fennel buns." Another master said, "You are the first NBA player here to earn a kung fu certificate."

After watching the video, Wembanyama said he still remembers the moves of the Shaolin Thirteen Fists. He added, "The friends at Shaolin are very interesting. Although I can't remember all their names, they train and study hard every day, which is truly admirable."

When asked which NBA player he wants to introduce Chinese culture to, Wembanyama answered Gobert. "Because he is my good friend, he’s French, and he is also very interested in Asian and Chinese culture. He likes Shaolin too, and since he is already bald, he doesn’t need to ‘shave his head’ anymore."
