Yang Hansen will compete again in the G League tomorrow! Trail Blazers announce two major events: free glass cups and sale of Year of the Horse jerseys

On February 24th Beijing time, per the Trail Blazers' latest injury update, Yang Hansen is set to participate again in the G League tomorrow, playing for the Mix team against the Santa Cruz Warriors. The Trail Blazers also consecutively announced two activities involving Yang Hansen.

The first event is Glass Cup Night. The Trail Blazers will hold Yang Hansen’s "Glass Cup Night" during tomorrow’s home game against the Timberwolves, where the first 5,000 fans attending will receive a commemorative glass cup featuring Yang Hansen. Unfortunately, Yang Hansen himself has been confirmed not to play in this game.

Yesterday, Yang Hansen played 29 minutes for the Mix team, scoring 11 points on 5 of 9 shooting, with 12 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks, while committing 5 turnovers and 4 fouls, finishing with a plus-minus of -16. His 5 turnovers tied his G League career high, and the -16 plus-minus marked a new career low in the G League.

Shortly after announcing the Glass Cup Night event, the Trail Blazers officially revealed they will sell a limited edition Year of the Horse Yang Hansen jersey.

The official statement reads: “New year, new emblem — Yang Hansen Year of the Horse limited edition jersey. Rooted in calligraphy, paying tribute to traditional heritage. Limited-time Swingman fan edition jerseys, available exclusively at Rip City Clothing. Designed by Marshall Wang (Wang Meixuan).” The announcement was accompanied by two photos of Yang Hansen wearing the limited edition jersey.

In his rookie NBA season, Yang Hansen has not received many opportunities. So far this season, he has appeared in 35 games for the Trail Blazers, averaging only 7.5 minutes per game, contributing 2.2 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 0.6 assists, with a field goal percentage of 29.5%, three-point percentage of 13.2%, and free throw percentage of 80.8%.
