On March 4th Beijing time, the Trail Blazers officially announced two signings. In addition to the previously reported Yabrad, they also signed forward Jason Kent to a two-way contract. Kent was Yang Hansen's teammate with the Mix, and he now joins the Trail Blazers' roster.

This will be Kent's first NBA contract. He graduated from the University of Texas last June, entered the draft but went undrafted, and subsequently joined the Trail Blazers' G League affiliate, the Mix, last fall after a local tryout.
Kent transferred from Indiana State University to the University of Texas for his final collegiate season but did not secure a significant role with his new team in the 2024-25 season. He primarily came off the bench, averaging 17.2 minutes, 5.6 points, and 3.3 rebounds per game.
However, this 6'8" forward developed into a reliable 3-and-D player in the G League this season. Appearing in 38 games for the Mix, he averaged 26.4 minutes, contributing 11.9 points and 4.1 rebounds per game, with shooting splits of 48.3% from the field, 39.3% from three-point range, and 92.1% from the free-throw line.

The Trail Blazers are currently making a series of adjustments to their two-way contract slots.
Last month, after promoting Sissoko to the standard roster, the Trail Blazers waived Cook, freeing up two two-way contract slots. The team has already signed Yabrad to fill one slot, and Kent occupies the other. This also means the Trail Blazers' 15+3 roster is now full.
Love, as a two-way player, is approaching the 50-game regular season appearance limit, but it remains unknown whether he will be promoted to the 15-man standard roster like Sissoko—the standard roster is currently full. As for Kent, his contract was finalized on Wednesday, so from now until the end of the regular season, he is eligible to play in a maximum of 12 official games for the Trail Blazers.
