On March 8 Beijing time, the Cavaliers continued training to prepare for tomorrow's game against the Celtics. After training, Mobley spoke with media and discussed his partnership with Harden. The relevant content is as follows —

Reporter: You haven't partnered with Harden for long, and Allen is still unavailable tomorrow. How will your role change?
Mobley: Then I must dominate the interior. Allen plays an important role in the team; whether he's present or not, I need to be the one protecting the paint. On offense, set solid screens to create easy scoring opportunities for Harden, while maintaining aggressiveness in my own attacks.
Reporter: When partnering with Harden, what are you mainly observing and learning?
Mobley: Mainly habits and tendencies in playstyle. For example, when he prefers to pass, how he passes, how he uses screens, when he attacks, and when he doesn't. I've watched him since I was young, so I know some aspects, but actually playing together allows me to learn more detailed things.

Reporter: Harden said he wants to put you in comfortable positions. How do you help him in return?
Mobley: Through pick-and-roll. I set solid screens, preventing easy interference against him, helping him gain space and create mismatches. Then my roll to the basket poses a threat, making it easier for him to play.
Reporter: His playing rhythm is slow and very patient, different from many pick-and-roll guards. What's the biggest adjustment for you in adapting?
Mobley: He is extremely confident, won't be disrupted, and always plays at his own pace. When facing traps, his height, wingspan, and strength allow him to make over-the-top passes, and his behind-the-back passes are also beautiful; he dares to take risks. His ability to control the game brings many advantages.
Shortly after the interview, the Cavaliers updated the injury list for tomorrow's game against the Celtics —

Allen (knee), Proctor (quadriceps), Strus (foot) are out.
Tyson (neck strain) is questionable.
Mitchell (groin), Dean Wade (ankle) are probable.
