On June 27, Beijing time, per US outlet TMZ, Dwyane Wade's son was taken into custody for felony domestic violence, and the police's online case summary referenced attempted murder as well.

Zaire Wade—the eldest child of the NBA Hall of Famer—was arrested and processed by the Burbank Police Department on Sunday local time. The police report stated: "Man arrested for domestic violence, criminal threats, false imprisonment, and attempted murder; an emergency protective order has been requested."
However, the booking documents show he was ultimately charged with only three offenses: felony domestic violence, criminal threats, and false imprisonment. The attempted murder charge was not recorded for unknown reasons. We have reached out to the police for details.

According to NBC Los Angeles, around 5:30 a.m. last Sunday, police responded to a call reporting a woman screaming, arriving at a residence. On scene, officers saw Zaire and a woman who had injuries on her face and body.
Despite her injuries, the woman was not taken to a hospital for treatment. Zaire was released the same day after posting $50,000 bail.
Zaire previously attended Sierra Canyon High School in Chatsworth, California, where he received multiple college basketball scholarship offers but turned them all down to pursue a professional basketball career directly.
He spent one year with the Salt Lake City Stars in the NBA G League, then played several seasons overseas, competing in South Africa and Macau.
TMZ has contacted Zaire himself but has not received a response as of now.
