Left out! Mozgov on Cavaliers' 10-year championship reunion: No messages or calls invited me

On June 28, Beijing time, the 10-year reunion of the 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers championship team took place recently, but former champion Timofey Mozgov was excluded and wasn't invited to the event.

In an interview with Russian outlet *Sport Express*, Mozgov said he did not receive any invitation to the celebration.

"Yes, I saw the video from the party. No one messaged or called me," Mozgov said. "If I had received an invitation, I would have happily attended. Of course, I really wanted to go there and have a few drinks with everyone."

The reunion was held in Europe, with photos and videos of LeBron James, Kevin Love, J.R. Smith, Iman Shumpert, and other key Cavaliers championship contributors circulating online. Kyrie Irving did not attend the gathering, but he did receive an invitation; he simply had prior commitments that prevented him from being there.

Mozgov went undrafted in 2008 and later had an eight-year NBA career, playing for five different teams. He spent the longest tenure with the Denver Nuggets, from 2011 to 2015, playing five seasons there.

In January 2015, the Cavaliers traded for Mozgov, and he played in their first NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors that same year.

During the full 2015–16 championship season, Mozgov remained with the Cavaliers and appeared in five of the seven Finals games against the Warriors, becoming the first Russian-born player to win an NBA championship.
