Demystifying James' Black Tech Regimen: Where Does the $1.5 Million a Year Be Spent?

In just over a month, James will be 40 years old, and whether you like him or not, you have to admit that he is still in peak physical condition. The latest Netflix documentary "The First Five Tigers" reveals James's bio-black technology regimen to see where his $1.5 million annual body maintenance expenses are spent.

1) Nutrition

James' rule is simple: avoid artificial drinks, sugar, and fried foods. He will tend to consume natural sugars and foods. The focus is on eating organic foods year-round and staying properly hydrated.

In an interview, he revealed his daily eating habits: reduce sugar, eat more carbohydrates and water to improve performance. Here are his three meals on a given day-

• Breakfast: Egg white omelet with smoked salmon + gluten-free pancakes with berries

• Lunch: Whole wheat pasta, salmon and vegetables

• Dinner: Chicken Parmesan cheese with arugula salad + a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon

2) Exercise

During the season, in addition to training on the court, James focused on building muscular endurance and optimizing his fitness classes for each day of the week.

His workout routine consists of doing compound exercises (using multiple muscle groups, such as deadlifts and squats) with small weights but more reps.

3) Recovery

For James, the recovery never ends. He uses the best biotech tools to manage inflammation after a race or exercise, starting with an ice bath.

The benefits are both physical and mental-

• Pain relief

• Relieves muscle soreness

• Improves mood and alertness

Hyperbaric oxygen chamber

It delivers pure oxygen under high pressure, forcing more oxygen to dissolve in the plasma. The increase in oxygen in the blood, which reaches more tissues and organs, provides extra energy for cell repair and reduces inflammation, thereby enhancing the body's ability to heal.

Cryotherapy

James uses a cryotherapy room to replicate the therapeutic effects of an ice bath – reducing inflammation and pain – and for a much shorter period of time.

You stand in a vaporized liquid nitrogen chamber that rapidly cools the air around you.

His most important pillar of recovery: sleep

Sleep was essential to James' recovery. He is well aware of this and strives to get 12 hours of sleep a night. He also usually takes naps a few times a day – during flights or between trainings. As for his sleeping environment, the room temperature is controlled at 20-21 degrees Celsius, completely dark, and there is no TV or telephone in the room. He turns off all electronics 30-45 minutes before going to bed.

James also used the power of the following methods to keep himself in shape-

• Soft tissue exercises

• Red light therapy

• Compression boots

• Hot and cold baths

This is not surprising. Becoming an elite requires an elite approach.

Another key point:James always mentions creating a stress-free home environment.

Everyone needs to have a relaxation area at home: dim lighting, a comfortable environment, a quiet workspace. Set boundaries away from the device during relaxation time. Your body and mind can't just be taken care of after something goes wrong. They are the foundation. Just as you invest in your work and social life, you must also invest in yourself. Therefore, athletes and people who achieve high levels of achievement always exude the most powerful aura. Because the foundation of their priority is their body and mind.
