Regarding Zeng Fanbo, he has been in the U.S. for a week and is still in personal recovery training.He will report to the Nets at the end of the month.

Zeng Fanbo has signed an E-10 contract, and the good news is that the Nets still have one two-way contract spot available. NetsDaily has stated thatit is anticipated that Zeng Fanbo will be prepared for the NBA China Games preseason in Macau on October 10 and October 12 this year.

Many people doubt that the Nets signed Zeng Fanbo merely to create a buzz for the China Games rather than because of his abilities. As for this claim, whether it is right or wrong is open to discussion; nonetheless, the Nets have genuinely given Zeng Fanbo the opportunity to enter the NBA. It remains to be seen if he can seize this chance.

In the 21-22 season, Zeng Fanbo played in the G League, averaging 5 points and 2.3 rebounds, with shooting percentages of 38.5%, 31%, and 38.5%; during the summer league in 2022, he averaged 5 points and 1 rebound, with shooting percentages of 55.6%, 40%, and 72.7%.

After three years in the CBA and experience in FIBA competitions, this guy is now more comprehensive, stronger, more stable, and more experienced. I believe he will perform even better as he challenges the NBA stage again.

Last season in the CBA, Zeng Fanbo made a qualitative leap, averaging 14.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.5 blocks in the regular season, with shooting percentages of 52.6%, 40.5%, and 79.8%; in the playoffs, he averaged 15 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 1.6 blocks, with shooting percentages of 56.3%, 43.3%, and 61.5%.
