TFT Set 18: The Sun comp is the most "broken" on PBE, Kayle reroll is almost unmatched.

The Sun lineup is rising as one of the scariest reroll strategies on the TFT Set 18 PBE. Featuring Kayle as the primary damage dealer, a framework of many 3-star champions, and the Celestial mechanic that executes opponents, this composition gains enormous strength from the middle to the end of the match.

Kayle is the number one damage source.

The power of the Sun comes from the mechanism of stat scaling based on the number of 3-star units. Since the comp uses many 1-2 cost champions, players can aim to get 3-4 units to max star level fairly early.

Kayle is a mandatory carry and heavily relies on attack speed. The ideal item set includes 2 Guinsoo's Rageblade + Hextech Gunblade. If missing the second Rageblade, you can replace it with Giant Slayer or Red Buff.

Frontline prioritize Ornn or Leona with Stoneplate, Warmog's Armor, and one defensive item like Spirit Visage or Sunfire Cape.

Reroll at level 5, prioritize 3-star Leona and Ornn.

Early game, the comp is quite weak because Kayle's power depends on the star levels of allies. Therefore, losing streak to save economy and secure Rageblade in carousel is an effective strategy.

Players start rerolling at level 5, prioritize upgrading Leona and Ornn to 3 stars. Varus is mainly used to activate the trait, so no need to force him if the shop is unfavorable.

After completing the two tanks, level up to 6 and continue to look for 3-star Kayle. Sejuani can be 3-starred if she appears frequently, but don't spend too much gold. The most important trio remains Kayle, Ornn, and Leona.

The Celestial mechanic is the key to Top 1.

The weakness of the comp is that almost all damage relies on Kayle. When the lobby starts to have strong 4-5 cost units, Kayle alone may not be enough to finish the fight.

At this point, players need to level up and activate 3 Sun + 3 Moon to unlock Celestial. This effect executes the enemy unit with the lowest HP after 10 seconds of combat and continues to trigger every 3 seconds.

When Celestial appears, the strategy shifts to stalling. Leona should become the main tank in the late game, while Kayle is placed in the middle of the board to optimize splash damage.

With easy reroll, early power spike, and extremely annoying execute mechanic, the Sun comp is currently one of the most worth-trying builds of TFT Set 18 on PBE.
