The annual finals are coming up at the end of the month. Despite Team Wolf’s roster changes, no one expects them to stop AG’s winning streak. In past years, Team Wolf secured one KPL title annually, and even a runner-up finish would upset their fans. Yet, what they refer to as a runner-up low point is actually a lifetime achievement for some minor teams—something beyond their reach.
This Team Wolf, relies excessively on Little Fatty’s form. When he’s in shape, Team Wolf is always among the top-tier teams. The entire team feeds him resources, and when his individual peak is high, he can carry the team, which led them to take risky chances to win titles multiple times. The most notable example is the 2024 Spring Finals, where Little Fatty pushed himself to his personal limit, earning four consecutive Finals MVPs. Despite a shaky start with a 0-2 deficit against AG, his peak performance and the right lineup gamble helped Team Wolf achieve their tenth championship.
However, Team Wolfeven kicked out Fly, their veteran captain and team soul who contributed to 8 out of their 10 championships. While pursuing success is understandable, it seems too heartless. If the company culture really bonded people, even with just a little hope, Yaodao wouldn’t have left for KSG with a 15 million contract to retire. Although Daozai was rebellious in Spring 2025, do you realize how young he is? Everyone goes through such phases; people don’t learn from others but learn from experience.
The team always calls back Daozai when he seems to have settled down. The young master’s mindset is probably a ticking time bomb; it only takes one spark. They don’t even need to lose to AG again—losing once or twice to other teams might be enough for these veterans to start giving up!
Compared to estar and AG, Team Wolf looks more like a "mismatched" team. The other two have proper dynasties, complete with stable five-man rosters, but Team Wolf lacks any real dynasty achievements. Their only claim was back in 2017, when the tournament system was immature and there was no global ban phase. Some say that counts as a dynasty, but many disagree. When people think of dynasties, they first recall Red Star or even the so-called pseudo-dynasty of Jiu Cheng.
Then there’s the well-known QG, not Team Wolf’s ten-time champion legacy. It’s basically impossible for Team Wolf to recreate QG’s glory!
Li Yuanfang has become a trap hero in the current meta.Early on, Li Yuanfang fears no one in lane; even against the meta’s favorite, Airi, he can dominate. His second skill makes him untargetable, and his first skill delivers explosive damage. Combined with his ultimate, he can instantly kill any squishy hero in the early to mid game.
However, Li Yuanfang’s skills are not suited for the late game. Because his burst damage is so high, to keep him balanced, his attack range is shorter than other marksmen. In late-game team fights, his damage output suffers. When you can attack others, they can also hit you, making it easy to get instantly killed during fights.
