Recently, the King of Glory started the S41 season, and simultaneously, it is preparing for its tenth anniversary celebration. As a result, there is a wealth of content in the game, with continuous news about skins. Besides new releases, multiple older skins are also returning. I did a quick count and was surprised that 15 skins have been confirmed to return so far.

Return of 2nd to 9th Anniversary Limited Skins

The official announcement revealed that eight anniversary limited skins from the 2nd to 9th anniversaries are returning. These include Zhen Ji’s Garden Dream, Yang Yuhuan’s Encounter with Flying, Shangguan Wan’er’s Liang Zhu, Pei Qinhu’s Bruce Lee, Zhuang Zhou’s Mountain Stream, Guiguzi’s Bountiful Harvest, A Gu Duo’s River Spirit, and Sang Qiming’s Wild Mugwort. All of these will be free. By completing corresponding tasks during the event, players can accumulate enough Tianyuan Coins to redeem these skins. However, the skins will only be available for redemption starting October 15th.

Return of Six Battle Pass Skins

With the new season update, the battle pass has also been refreshed. Alongside new battle pass skins, four previous battle pass skins are returning to the exchange shop: Sikong Zhen’s Hellfire Heart, Ailin’s Flowing Melody Dance, Cai Wenji’s Summer Convenience Store, and Yu Ji’s Summer Convenience Store. To obtain these returning skins, players must have previously collected enough battle pass coins. Additionally, Milady’s Hu Tao Wonderland and Damo’s Starship Marine skins are returning at the Spring of Light, and these two can be obtained for free but require an advanced battle pass to claim.

Monthly Welfare Gift Pack Return

The monthly gift pack has also been updated, bringing back two skins from the Star Magic Troupe series: Yun Zhongjun and Shangguan Wan’er. I recall that many of Shangguan Wan’er’s skins have previously returned in the monthly welfare gift pack. It’s unclear if these skins will have chances for direct sales returns later, but they are currently available at a minimum 20% discount. Compared to most skins returning at full price, these discounted returns offer better value and are worth considering if interested.

Daji’s Violet Oath Return

This skin is a standard direct sale return, priced still at 60 vouchers. However, it won’t be available in direct sales again afterward. For Daji players, it’s a good opportunity to grab it now because future returns might cost several hundred vouchers to obtain.

Besides the skins mentioned above, the King of Glory will also bring back several other skins. This includes five skins from the anniversary return voting event: the top two will be direct sale returns, while the remaining three will be optional returns. Also, the season shop is expected to feature a returning skin. Last season it was Marco Polo’s Trendy Cowboy, and this season will likely update as well. Players need to reach level 30 in the season tasks to qualify for the purchase voucher.
