30th Annual Summary: JDG dominated TTG to claim first place, AG secured two consecutive wins but only ranked third, TTG looked really bad.

On the third day of the 2025 KPL Annual Finals, the schedule ran from 2 PM well into the early morning of the following day. The three matches were thrilling and fiercely competitive!

The first match was EDG versus WB. Despite WB playing consecutive matches, their recent clean sweep of the opponent made many people favor WB. However, EDG demonstrated their strength by taking two points from AG!

Originally, this match seemed one-sided, but EDG’s resilience showed once again! After pushing the summer champion AG to a deciding game in the first match, they also forced the summer runner-up WB into a tiebreaker in the second. Unfortunately, EDG fell short again, losing 2-3 in the final game.

The second match was between JDG and TTG. Most predictions favored TTG before the match since TTG was the summer season’s third-place team and had added two strong new players, gaining considerable support. On the other hand, JDG had lost to DRG in their last match and was underestimated by many!

However, JDG’s players delivered a thrilling victory, proving to everyone online that although this was JDG’s first time in the annual finals, they were not here just to participate. Their goal is the championship. After defeating TTG 3-1, JDG jumped to first place in the elite group, with a strong chance to advance directly to the playoffs. Meanwhile, TTG once again became a laughingstock!

The third match was between AG Super Play and KSG. No surprise, 99% predicted AG to win, which was understandable since AG is very strong! Although AG eventually won, the match was tough. KSG took the first game, forcing AG to play catch-up.

Facing a 1-2 deficit, AG had to rotate players. If KSG’s coach hadn’t made questionable lineup choices in the fourth and fifth games, AG Super Play might have become the second master group team to lose to an elite group team after TTG. After these two matches, AG’s dominance has clearly weakened!

Many players might not realize it yet, but Di Renjie’s win rate has been quietly rising! The main reason is that he benefits from the new Windstorm equipment! The Windstorm update not only changed its passive stats but also adjusted its passive mechanics. Instead of 35% attack speed and 15% damage on a single target, it now grants 10% movement speed, 10% attack speed, and 10% damage. Additionally, the stacking method now includes skill triggers, the stacks apply to all targets instead of just one, and the stack duration has been extended.

After reaching 5 stacks, Windstorm boosts all damage by 10%, which includes basic attacks, projectiles, and skills alike.

In terms of overall adaptability, the new Windstorm fits almost all marksman heroes, and Di Renjie is among the best suited. His passive allows basic attacks to stack attack speed and movement speed up to five layers. The stacking method and attributes match Windstorm’s perfectly. With both fully stacked, Di Renjie can achieve 45% attack speed and 35% movement speed, greatly enhancing his kiting ability to an unprecedented level.

With just three items—End of the Earth, Windstorm, and Dawnbreaker—Di Renjie can reach the attack speed level of other marksmen while maintaining exceptional kiting skills. Hurry up and use Di Renjie to climb ranks!
