Hello everyone, I’m Gamer Xiaodi.
Recently, King of Glory announced a new skin for Cao Cao named "Wanling Fuwei." It’s a legendary-tier skin that can be obtained in a package including the skin and buttons for at least 990 points, releasing on October 6th. Many players are debating whether to get it, so this time Xiaodi will compare "Wanling Fuwei" with Cao Cao’s most popular skin so far, "Yedu Moqi," to help you make a decision.~
From the posters, it’s clear that "Wanling Fuwei" looks more imposing, with cooler poses and a very arrogant sitting posture, giving off the vibe of a highly skilled expert; in contrast, "Yedu Moqi" is more ordinary, standing while holding a knife. Although decent, it doesn’t quite match the grandeur of "Wanling Fuwei."
Regarding modeling, "Wanling Fuwei" is extremely detailed, featuring many decorative elements but without looking cluttered—rather, it feels clean and sharp. The only downside is the rather common standing pose. "Yedu Moqi" also has good detail, styled as a suit-wearing gangster. Actually, Xiaodi really likes the way he sits on the throne; it has a strong presence.
The effects of "Wanling Fuwei" are excellent and highly detailed. For example, the second skill shows not only the sword’s light but also red arms emerging from the ground, which fits the skin’s theme perfectly, full of intricate details. Additionally, the sword light includes green and black lightning effects, enhancing its power, and multiple layers are used for the sword light. Unfortunately, due to the theme, the colors are close to the original skin, and the hell-themed effects are common in the game (like Hellfire or Hell Flame skins), so it lacks some novelty.
Compared to "Wanling Fuwei," the effects of "Yedu Moqi" are more subdued. For example, "Wanling Fuwei’s" ultimate nearly fills the whole screen with a huge building appearing at the center, whereas "Yedu Moqi’s" ultimate is much less intense and lacks additional patterns or elements in the center. However, "Yedu Moqi" uses a purple-gold color scheme, which visually distinguishes it greatly from the original skin and also sets it apart from the purple KPL limited skin "Tianlang Conqueror."
Also, many players think "Wanling Fuwei" resembles "Death Comes," so here’s a comparison. It’s clear that aside from some similarity in theme and color, the two skins are on completely different levels in all other aspects.
Overall, "Wanling Fuwei" is definitely a skin worth getting. After all, it’s currently the only legendary-tier skin available for Cao Cao. Although "Yedu Moqi" has a good reputation, it’s a limited skin with a very strict acquisition method, requiring over 10,000 points of recharge, which is hard for most players to achieve. Therefore, "Wanling Fuwei" is a good option.
That’s all for today. If you liked it, please give a thumbs up to support. If you have any thoughts, questions, or want to see something else, leave your comments below—I’ll read them all~
