Besides the highly anticipated Baili Xuance and Luo Xiaohai War Chronicles, the discounted prize pool has updated two skins: the return of Shangguan Wan’er and Yun Zhongjun’s Star Magic Troupe skins. I’ve seen many players still debating whether to purchase these returning skins, so this time I’ll provide some reference suggestions.

Shangguan Wan’er Star Magic Troupe

To conclude first, I don’t really recommend buying it. Shangguan Wan’er’s skin is of decent quality, but she has too many skin options. There’s a free skin, the 4th Anniversary Liang Zhu, which is not only powerful but also currently available again in the 10th Anniversary event. By collecting enough Tenyuan coins, you can exchange for a skin selection pack that includes Shangguan Wan’er’s Liang Zhu. As for paid skins, Shangguan Wan’er also has quite a few, like Magic · Wanxiang Brush and Delusion Tales, which have previously returned in the gift book, and many players likely already own them. So this Star Magic Troupe skin doesn’t have much competitive edge.

Additionally, this skin is returning at a 20% discount, costing at least 710 vouchers, whereas its initial release price was 532 vouchers. Although this discounted return is cheaper compared to most skins’ original prices, it’s still significantly more expensive than when it first launched.

Yun Zhongjun Star Magic Troupe

Again, to summarize, it’s worth considering. Yun Zhongjun’s price situation is similar to Shangguan Wan’er’s: returning at 20% off for 1430 vouchers, while the lowest price at launch was 880 vouchers, so the price has also increased.

However, Yun Zhongjun isn’t very popular in the game, which means he doesn’t have many skins to choose from. So far, he only has one legendary skin, the Star Magic Troupe, while the other two, Qian Yun Nong Qiao and Wish of Time, are epic quality and currently unavailable through any channels. Therefore, for players lacking high-tier skins for Yun Zhongjun, this Star Magic Troupe skin is a good option since it has impressive effects and an overall exquisite design.

Moreover, Yun Zhongjun has an advantage: his win rate is actually not low, exceeding 53% across all tiers. He ranks among the top junglers, making him a great choice for those wanting to try a less common but high-win-rate jungler. However, Yun Zhongjun recently underwent a minor rework in the current patch, so mastering him quickly requires some practice.
