Hello everyone, I’m Game Brother Xiao.
Right now, the game is hosting an intense limited-time coupon giveaway event. I’m curious how many coupons you have saved up? Since the giveaway amount is quite generous, a total of 3000 limited-time coupons, even after spending 990 coupons to redeem Hou Yi’s newest legendary skin Divine Tree Ascension, you still have 2010 coupons left—enough to exchange for another previous legendary skin. Considering there are 12 legendary skins in this limited-time coupon shop, aside from the new skin, which other legendary skins are worth redeeming?
Tier one: Zhang Liang’s Golden Aries and Miyamoto Musashi’s Hell’s Eye.
These skins are highly recommended for redemption. Miyamoto Musashi’s skin is a classic, consistently ranking high on popular skin sales charts, which proves its strong reputation among players. Moreover, this skin has a star legend version that can be redeemed with 3000 star coins, offering even better effects when paired. Additionally, Miyamoto Musashi has been popular in recent seasons mainly due to equipment changes that boosted many heroes’ healing abilities. His ultimate disables healing effects, making him a strong counter pick and a solid choice for climbing ranks, so naturally pairing him with a good skin is beneficial.
Zhang Liang’s skin is of very high quality; overall, the Saint Seiya collaboration skins have impressive effects. So why is only Zhang Liang’s skin recommended? On one hand, Zhang Liang has many skins but most are of hero quality; this year’s two skins are both hero quality, and this is Zhang Liang’s only legendary skin. On the other hand, Zhang Liang’s pick rate is quite good, and his mechanics counter many heroes. Plus, he’s easy to play, making him friendly for most players.
Tier two: Zhou Yu’s “You Make My Heart Beat,” Wu Zetian’s Ocean Heart, Li Yuanfang’s Flying Swallow in Spring, Hou Yi’s Golden Archer, Gan Jiang & Mo Ye’s Everlasting War God, and Damo’s Golden Leo.
These skins are generally decent in quality but each has drawbacks, so unless you have a strong preference or specific need, they are not top priority. For example, Zhou Yu and Damo have low hero strength in the current meta and rarely appear in matches, making their skins less worthwhile. Wu Zetian’s skin requires Glory Crystals to redeem, and although the hero is often free to play, many players still don’t have Wu Zetian, so redeeming the skin without the hero is frustrating. Hou Yi has the new Divine Tree Ascension skin available for only 990 coupons, which is clearly a better deal. Gan Jiang & Mo Ye are harder to master, so many players struggle to use them effectively. Li Yuanfang’s skin is newly added and worth considering, though its feel is somewhat light and less smooth to play with.
Tier three: Sun Wukong’s Hellfire, Meng Qi’s Panda Rongrong, and Hua Mulan’s Champion Flying General.
This tier is generally not recommended; the skins have few advantages but clear disadvantages. Sun Wukong’s skin is famous but the gameplay feel is poor—too light and lacking impact, which is a big drawback for a hero reliant on basic attacks. Unless necessary, it’s better to avoid redeeming it. Meng Qi’s skin is creative but the effects are rather faint, and the hero himself is quite unpopular. Several reworks haven’t improved his strength, and there are two free epic skins as alternatives, so only dedicated players should consider this. Hua Mulan’s skin also has very subtle effects; as the earliest FMVP skin, it can’t compete with the two new skins released this year. Personally, I think it’s better to use skin fragments to redeem the Crystal Dragon Hunter. Also, Hua Mulan’s current strength is relatively low, so it’s not recommended.
That’s all for now. If you found this helpful, please give a like to support. If you have any thoughts, questions, or want to see more, leave a comment below—I’ll read them all!
