Have all players already claimed the full 3000 limited-time vouchers? Avoid exchanging for three types of skins including the Dragon Knight! It's too much of a loss.

Hello everyone, I’m Game Brother Xiao.

Calculating the time, if everyone completes all daily tasks and uses the advanced river lantern, most have basically reached the maximum limit of 2000 limited-time vouchers. Adding the 1000 limited-time vouchers received from logging in on the 25th, the vouchers for this event are fully collected. Now it’s truly necessary to think about which rewards to redeem. Naturally, skins are the first choice. I’ve written many exchange recommendations before, but many players still feel confused about what to choose. This time, let’s change the perspective and look at which skins in the limited-time voucher shop are not worth exchanging.

Skins costing 2888 limited-time vouchers

There are four skins in this category: Mozi Dragon Knight, Luban No.7 Arcade Kid, Ake Night Cat, and Xiang Yu Sky Light. The reason these four skins are not worth exchanging is not because their effects are poor—in fact, after optimization, these skins are of quite good quality and include exclusive recall effects, almost legendary quality. The main issue is their high price. This event only offers 3000 limited-time vouchers total, and one skin costs 2888 vouchers, leaving only 112 vouchers left, which can only be exchanged for 1 raffle ticket and 5 skin shards—offering very poor value. Unless you really like them, most players probably wouldn’t choose these.

Non-epic quality skins

This includes normal skins priced at 288 vouchers and hero-quality skins ranging from 388 to 888 vouchers. There are quite a few of these, so I won’t list their names here. The main reason these skins aren’t worth exchanging is the lack of cost-effectiveness. Although the prices are low, most don’t have new special effects; they mostly just change the appearance. Some slightly better skins have color effects, but that’s about it. Moreover, these skins are permanently available through free channels in Honor of Kings, such as the skin shard shop, battle pass selectable skin packs, and welfare reward pools. There’s no need to waste limited-time vouchers on them. Even some epic skins, like Li Yuanfang’s Summer Wave, have permanent free acquisition methods and are not highly recommended.

Skins of unpopular heroes

Whether epic or legendary, if the hero itself is unpopular and the player is not a heavy user of that hero, then their skins can be disregarded. For example, this time Mengqi has a legendary skin called Panda Rongrong. Honestly, the skin is very creative, combining the panda design with Sichuan opera face-changing and some Sichuan-themed effects. However, because Mengqi has very few players and the current strength is not sufficient, even if players practice, success is not guaranteed. Therefore, it’s not recommended to exchange for such skins. Most of the time, they just sit unused in the inventory, making such exchanges pointless.

After filtering out these options, the rewards worth exchanging become much fewer, allowing players to better meet their needs and obtain truly worthwhile skins.

That’s all for now. If you found this helpful, please give a like to support. If you have any comments, questions, or things you want to see, leave a message in the comment section—I’ll read them all~
