In Season S41, the most durable heroes on each lane are clear: Li Xin firmly holds the top spot on the solo lane, while the carry lane hero has vanished from the KPL scene.

Season S41 has been ongoing for a while. Who do you believe are the most durable heroes on each lane? Let’s talk about the toughest heroes in each lane. In ranked matches, particularly solo queue, it’s best not to choose these heroes for ranking up!

Solo Lane: Li Xin

During the King’s 10th anniversary celebration, we saw the story of Li Xin and Gongsun Li. Many players felt sympathy for Li Xin and eagerly awaited the release of that movie. Unfortunately, in ranked games, Li Xin has very low pick and win rates!

Li Xin’s three abilities include one that disarms himself, one that controls himself, and the only crowd control skill is actually the recall button at the base. As a dual-form hero, Li Xin lacks the skill synergy of Mulan and the counterplay options of Yang Yuhuan, making him feel designed just for having two forms. Currently, Li Xin can do nothing except tower-stealing!

Jungle: Lanling Wang

You might not know this, but once armor exceeds 400, even a fully built six-item Lanling Wang cannot one-shot opponents with his full combo! Besides numerical and mechanical nerfs, the meta environment also plays a big role. This patch’s items like Scorching Dominance, Golden Body, armor, shields, and Punishment are nightmares for Lanling Wang!

As an economy-dependent jungle assassin, Lanling Wang’s farming efficiency is worse than many strong junglers, relying heavily on kills to make up the difference. But if the team composition is unsuitable or at higher ranks, players become cautious, kills are scarce, economy suffers, and Lanling Wang ends up weaker than even super minions!

Mid Lane: Bian Que

Bian Que has extremely high healing, restoring teammates’ health every five seconds. However, as an AoE mage in teamfights, he lacks crowd control, has short range, slow movement, and long poison stacking time. To play him effectively, the team must have two frontliners; otherwise, against aggressive dive comps, he is helpless.

This is why Bian Que thrives on the carry lane with good support creating space for him. As a midlaner, he only works if your team has double frontlines; otherwise, picking him just hands points to the enemy.

Carry Lane: Galo

How long has it been since you last saw Galo in ranked? Not only ranked, but even in KPL pro matches, Galo has disappeared! As a stationary marksman, Galo is vulnerable in the mid-to-late game—opponents will target her relentlessly. She suffers from low mana and energy, is fragile, and lacks crowd control.

Compared to other stationary marksmen, Luban is tanky and Hou Yi excels in initiating fights, while Galo only retains her long range advantage. Previously, she could dominate the map with her range, but after nerfs to her range and shield-breaking ability, she has lost all her unique traits.

Support: Ming Shiyin

Ming Shiyin as a support hero has been a major disappointment. Other supports are either banned or highly contested picks, but Ming Shiyin is free for anyone to pick—and still only rates a one-star performance! He lacks vision control, timely protection for teammates, and teamfight initiation in the late game. Without vision, initiation, or protection, he is a support with nothing.

For these five heroes, it’s best to avoid picking them in ranked games. If you manage to climb with them, it’s because your teammates are strong, not because of your own skill!
