Year-end massive warship sale? The new steel ships in "World of Warships" are stat monsters—just how outrageous is their strength?

With 2025 coming to an end, many games are holding their year-end clearance events, allowing players to purchase high-end, costly items at prices that are easier to accept. "World of Warships" recently started its Christmas event in version 14.11, featuring a big sale on top-tier warships.

The most eye-catching are the three new Tier 10 pseudo-steel ships—the Hawaii, Manta, and Bremen. During this period, many players have been asking which ship is the best choice. In fact, all three boast impressive performance and unique features, making each well worth switching to!

Among them, the Manta stands out for its strength and relatively low complexity, offering a more relaxed gameplay experience. As the first Tier 10 R-line battleship, it comes equipped with a powerful dive bomber squadron. One strike can launch eight planes, dropping a total of 16 high-explosive bombs with 61mm penetration and 8,500 standard damage each.

This penetration means that most battleships’ decks can be pierced by the Manta’s dive bombs. Coupled with a decent 38x159 dispersion pattern, the Manta often lands more than half of its bombs in a single run, dealing 20,000 to 30,000 standard damage to large ships.

Moreover, as an aviation-modified version of the Whale, the Manta is equipped with six powerful 460mm main guns, providing reliable baseline damage output. Compared to the Whale and Pike, the Manta’s main guns benefit from the six-gun battleship’s higher rate of fire and better dispersion, making the actual combat feel better than expected.

In contrast to the Manta, the Hawaii and Bremen require significantly more operation. The Bremen is armed with a full sixteen 150mm guns, boasting an 18km range. When firing AP shells, it can deliver 700,000 DPM, and when using HE shells, it reaches 340,000! Additionally, with its built-in seaplane and range boosts, the sixth upgrade slot can be used for reload, further enhancing its damage output!

Plus, the D-line’s high-penetration HE shells mean Bremen’s HE damage is actually comparable to that of the Mainz. And since cruisers rely heavily on DPM-converted semi-damage when attacking large ships, Bremen has a natural advantage. Just with its main guns alone, Bremen’s power is quite absurd.

Bremen

The last pseudo-steel ship, Hawaii, is also a formidable stat monster and a very unusual M-line large cruiser. It fits twelve catapult turrets on the Alaska hull, wielding an impressive 24 long-barrel 127mm main guns, delivering extremely high projectile volume.

Hawaii

Centered around this main battery, Hawaii offers different firing modes: in normal mode, it fires straight with good accuracy and ignition chance on the upper parts and superstructure of distant large ships; pressing F switches to a high-trajectory mode similar to the Kii, greatly increasing the rate of fire. Although the shell performance decreases somewhat, the increased firing rate compensates with higher projectile volume.

Therefore, in actual combat, Hawaii needs to adapt flexibly by using the F key depending on the battlefield situation, to deliver output more efficiently and influence the outcome of the battle.

To obtain these warships, you can participate in the recent Steel Fleet event and buy them directly with steel.

Additionally, you can open the highest-tier Christmas supply box—the "Santa’s Ultimate Gift"—to get them. This box not only offers a higher drop rate for these ships but also contains golden crates.

Owning golden crates means that Manta, Bremen, and Hawaii are within your reach. There’s also a chance to get their golden versions, or 3,000 steel or 3,750 research points, which is a great bonus!

This year-end mega sale is the most worthwhile time all year to start playing "World of Warships" and is also the easiest way to accumulate resources. If you want a strong start and a good gaming experience, now is the time to check it out!
