On January 17th, AG Super Play Club faced their second match in the Spring Season. Although it’s just the second game, if AG fails to win this one, their chance to compete for Group S will be almost gone!

In the opening match, AG Super Play Club narrowly lost 2-3 to WB, who just won the championship. Despite missing three FMVPs in the jungle and mid positions, they managed to take a 2-0 lead toward match point, which exceeded many expectations. However, the top lane remains a headache for AG. Fortunately, being in a group with relatively low pressure gives AG plenty of room to make mistakes and adjust.

Speaking of the top 32 in the Challenger Cup, more teams like Wolf Team and eStar got heavily defeated, but the first KPL team to be eliminated was actually EDG. From locking down Xia Ling in the jungle to parting ways with head coach Ai Si, EDG has made many puzzling decisions in recent seasons. This season still sees no substitutes for the upper and jungle positions, but the head coach position has changed frequently from the Challenger Cup to the Spring Season. Let’s see if EDG’s “shake-up” will bring positive results.

Before AG Super Play Club’s match, there were two other games. The first was DRG versus eStar! eStar narrowly lost 2-3 to JDG in their opener, which was somewhat surprising given the scoreline. Fly, returning to the stage, showed a clearer improvement compared to the previous year, but the head coach Xiaofeng’s BP outdid the ghostly tactics of Zwy from the Challenger Cup, making it hard to have high hopes for this eStar squad.
DRG lost 1-3 to KSG in their opening match and failed to secure their first win of the season. The legendary SSR jungler Xiaoyang didn’t create many highlights against the top pick Juhua, and the core player Menglan still struggles with losing his lane advantage. Rather than focusing on making Group S in the first round, completing team synergy quickly is more important.

The second match is a clash between two K甲 teams in the KPL! Qingjiu easily swept TES 3-0 in the opener. In this match, Moleng won MVP twice against Lanyan, and Jiuhan, who was heavily criticized for his Shiranui previously, delivered a surprisingly unfamiliar performance. Can Tongxiang Qingjiu secure another point and maintain their top spot in this K甲 internal battle?
TCG lost 0-3 to RW侠 in the first round; losing one of their championship cores, Zhao Jue, significantly weakened their roster. Now in the Spring Season, TCG continues to adjust their lineup. Facing Qingjiu, also from K甲, in their first match, how will the K甲 double champions perform?

In Season 42, Yun Ying’s win rate skyrocketed. This might not be obvious in low-tier matches, but in high-tier games, Yun Ying ranks fourth among junglers in pick rate, with a win rate close to 55%, showing great strength. Yun Ying is nearly overpowered, having received buffs in the last three adjustments. Now her Gun Intent can fully crit, and with two Endless Crit items, her Blazing Slash can deal nearly 5000 critical damage.
Before team fights, casting a Blazing Slash from afar can instantly initiate the battle, instantly disrupting the enemy marksman. Not to mention Yun Ying’s strong crowd control and sustained burst damage; even a fully equipped Hou Yi can be instantly eliminated. Yun Ying also has super armor, damage reduction, and healing mechanics. Though her skills seem complex, she doesn’t require very high mechanical skill, making her currently the strongest jungler hero.
